After just a week away I returned to California for the Christmas holiday, brining Mocha in tow. It was nice to spend time with mom and dogs despite recent events.

I returned home on the 28th just after the first real storm of the winter season. The roads are slick after rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow but the area is picturesque covered in white as the sun returns.
